It's officially a minute past the Pornday deadline and I'm so sad I couldn't make it in time! My contribution is very much almost done, and I'll post it tomorrow once it's properly finished.

I'm still really happy that the deadline spurred me on, though! I got more writing done in two days than I have in two weeks, so it still feels like a big win for me.

And I can't wait to read everyone's contributions heheh!

Traditionally, we allow one last submission through if you can get it in before the wrap-up post. You get the title of a Zamboni driver and have to help clean up everyone else's porn related messes though. :-) The wrap-up post won't go up until about seven and a half hours from now. Just so you know.

Pornday is so great for just encouraging everyone to ...write, write now!! - I love it! And I also find it useful as a writer to just have such a short deadline because it means I stress less about how good my fic is, cos I'm just focusing on getting as much down as possible and getting it done.

Congratulations on getting so such writing done in such a short time, and I can't wait to read what you wrote!

This is so good to know for next time! I'm learning new things! I wish it could've been me, but I had an early and long meeting first thing this morning, so I didn't have time to get it done before the wrap-up post. My goal is to get it up (wink) today, though, so I can at least join in the spirit of Pornday heheh!

Absolutely! It works so well to light a fire and just get you going and do as much as you can as fast as you can. I have a bad habit of editing as I write, so this sort of thing really helps with that.

I'm kinda kicking myself for going to bed as soon as I made the post (and thus missing the Zamboni Driver rally cry), because I would've just woken up earlier to get it done, BUT now I know the option is there for next time.
